  4.    FileX is a binary file editor which offers the following features:

  6.    - Several files can be modified in several windows and/or views at
  7.        the same time.
  8.    - The edit windows can be opened on any public screen and sized to
  9.        any dimension you want.
  10.    - Small calculator
  11.    - Clipboard converter
  12.    - Fontsensitivity
  13.    - Locale support if you have OS 2.1 or higher. (English, Finnish,
  14.        French, German, Swedish (Dutch, Norwegian (not yet included)))
  15.    - Undo and Redo (only limited to your free memory)
  16.    - Search and replace with history
  17.    - Extensive blockfunctions
  18.    - ARexxport with 77 commands and asynchronical command shell
  19.    - Printing as hexdump
  20.    - `Grab memory' to show and modify memory
  21.    - AppWindow. If FileX runs on the workbench, icons can be moved onto
  22.        the FileX window and the related file will be loaded automatically.

  31. PPrefs    2.0    Screenmode promotion utility
  32.  
  33. PPrefs is a screenmode promotion utiltity which allows you to promote every
  34. available screenmode of your system (including HAM and EHB modes) to
  35. another mode. You simply select a source and a destination mode and every
  36. program that wants to open a screen with the source mode, instead will open
  37. a screen with the destination mode. If you want that some very special
  38. programs get their very special screenmode or don't get promoted at all,
  39. besides that "mode to mode" promotion, PPrefs supports task/screen specific
  40. promotion, as well..address
